Perfume cover-ups or "cover-up perfumes" are completely original perfumes offered by well-known perfume brands. There is no difference in scent or concentration between them and regular perfumes, but they come in different outer packaging, often white, and their price is slightly lower because of this difference.
The difference between cover-up perfumes and regular perfumes:
Quality, scent and stability: 100% identical.
Price: Cover-up perfumes are 5% to 20% cheaper, sometimes higher or lower.
Box: Cover-up perfumes come in a white or beige box, and sometimes in a regular perfume box with a slight difference such as the absence of a nylon wrapper. It may also come without a box, or without a cap.
Perfume bottle: Usually labeled “tester not for sale” in very small font, and rarely comes without a cap.
Note: Some brands do not write the word “Tester” on the box, so this is mentioned in the product description if it is without a box or cap.
The forms of cover-up perfumes vary depending on the perfume brand.
